GENDAR
GENDAR is a PC-based data acquisition and processing system suitable for general
data taking and performing impulsive, ambient, and operating vibration lab and field
testing. GENDAR provides many of the functions of a spectrum analyzer. The capabilities
of GENDAR are:
- Allows the user to enter location information and calibration factors for 16-128
channels of response transducers. The ADC uses 16 bits and is capable of up to 100,000
samples/sec.
- Allows the user to specify sampling rate and duration.
- Processes the acquired time histories. Includes filtering, Fourier Transforms, Reponse
Spectra, PSD’s, Transfer Functions, and Lissajous plots.
- Provides for plotting, archiving, and exporting of all data.
- Test data set ups can be saved and retrieved for later use, review, and modification.
GENDAR is a PC-based, ANCO written Virtual Instrument (VI) using LabVIEW which acquires
data using National Instruments hardware. See also Impulse Exciters and FEA & Seismic
Analysis.
