Geocentrifuges
Geocentrifuges accurately scale models of structures embedded in soil by scaling time and acceleration in proportion to the geometric scale factor. Such tests accurately demonstrate geodynamic phenomena such as soil-structure interaction, embankment failure, and nonlinear soil behavior. These centrifuges can be equipped with video imagining and failure line detection, pneumatic actuators, and seismic shake tables. The ANCO software program, CENTRIVIEW, provides for PC-based control and data acquisition.
ANCO offers four sizes of the MKB student teaching and research centrifuge (based on the design by the University of Colorado).
Also shown is a custom system example:

ANCO also offers Geoboxes and Laminar Boxes.
