SPECTIME:
Response Spectrum Compatible Time History Generator
Shake table users and other seismic researchers often need to develop one or more
statistically independent time histories that have a specified response spectrum. ANCO
offers a program, SPECTIME, which produces a text file spectrum compatible time history
for use in shake table drivers or analysis programs. Some of the program attributes
are:
- Fast: Iteration takes only seconds.
- Convenient: Outputs response spectrum and time history in easily read text files
specifying acceleration, velocity, and displacement time histories and plots.
- Accurate: Typically matches spectrum to within 10% or better
- Instructive: All processes presented and visualized in one GUI window.
- Reduces Test Time: Quickly meet IEEE-344 multi-axes stationary/independence (see
IEEE-344 Check ANCO software).
- SPECTIME is a PC-based, ANCO written Virtual Instrument (VI) using LabVIEW.
- Uses the Gasparini and Van Mark algorithm.
